Meet Fred Bear!

He may not have a little metal tag in his ear and he may not hundreds of years old, but Fred is priceless (at least to me!). He was made about 28 years ago (when I was in my 20s) by my mother and father! Mum did the sewing and design and Dad had the tough jobs, including the innumerable trips to the market to get more bags of filling...and suffer the looks and comments of the trader and his regular customers!

Fred is well travelled. He has live (chronologically) in Wales, England, Hong Kong and now Cyprus...and he has never flown! He only ever travels by sea. Sadly at present he is showing signs of age, as the stitching holding his arms and legs (and ears) is beginning to loosen...nothing a little strong thread and a bit of TLC won't remedy! Wouldn't it be nice if all problems could be so easily solved!
