At the Jetty
I was quite taken with this little boat when I first arrived as it was so tiny and cute. There was also a backpack on the ramp nearby and I thought someone had forgotten it and left it there until I saw a gent in the park reading his book. Then I moved around and started taking various shots and when I came back to the jetty he was there and started a conversation. The tide was roaring out and he said he was hoping it would change soon. I asked if he was waiting to fish on the turn of the tide but no - he was waiting to row back up river in this tiny little boat. I thought he must have lived way up river but on reflection when I got home, I think he may have been waiting to row back to his yacht as there were two or three moored up river - cheaper than staying at the marina I guess ( and a lot easier than having to row this tiny little thing too far).
I got a great shot of some pelicans in flight and will attempt to post it in my blipfolio if anyone is interested.
