Feared Dangerous Goods

I was selected to go through security screening on my way into work. I had this open container of tomatoes picked from my garden and carrots from the farm. Not wanting these items to be contaminated with over 15 years worth of germs in that x-ray, I asked the security guard if she'd mind just doing a visual/manual inspection. She refused saying everything had to go through the x-ray. I refused, and she called the police on me. Thankfully, the gal's supervisor allowed common sense to prevail and I was allowed to continue on to work with my veggies (and the visual inspection).
