It went BANG

and all the lights went off.

Not so much a thunder-storm really, just a couple of flashes of lighening and then a bloody great big bang and flash directly over-head -I was coming in from the car, it was the loudest crack of thunder I've ever heard.

So pleased I have gas to cook on!
