smiling!

sorry i've been lazy to come up with something to blip for a while. i guess it's autumn's effect. i used to get out for photographing after 6 pm but now it gets dark after 5. not to mention it's grey and windy whole day which makes me just want to keep the camera in its pants.
last night i had a nightmare, my camera was dropped in the water and it was corrupt. when i woke up i realized a camera just resting in its bag is no better than a corrupt camera.

in other news i had my first official group exhibit (i've had some before but they were exhibitions from the winning photos in competitions) this week with some of the great photographers from around the country. it's in another town so i just attended the opening day and i observed a great attendance for the first day. we're also publishing a book from this exhibit's photos which should be out in a few weeks.

i also won third place in a national competition last week. here's the winning photo.
