Apparently HM had dropped in earlier for a latte and scone, but left just before I arrived. What a blip that would have been.

And no, she's not in Australia, that's a double. HMtQ can't be bothered with all that travelling any more, and certainly not to pass the time with a bunch of badly-spoken Aussies that are too stuck-up to courtsey to one.

A cracking morning as you can see. That's Salisbury Crags in the background; they rise straight out of the ground and look quite natural although they were in fact constructed by the Picts as a defence against the invading Roman armies. Most of the Romans gave up and left, but a few (such as the Lucas and the Valvona and Crolla families) stayed and opened ice-cream shops and delis. Google the names if you don't believe me.
