So, some people think we have too many anniversaries. But I think that significant dates are worth remembering and celebrating.

Today marks 18 years since Mrs BH and I first stepped out together. Which is, when you think about it, absoflimminglutely remarkable. I don't know how we've managed it. But we have and that's just brilliant.

To celebrate, I bought her the Great British Bake Off book (subtlety is not my watchword) and she bought me flowers and other lovely things. These are the flowers that didn't fit in the vase - looking cute in an egg cup, eh?
