No 105: Lesser Black-Backed Gull

I caught a bus over to the opposite side of the city today and had a wander around part of the Rother Valley - Treeton and Orgreave. They are both great locations for birds and the light was sharp and clear. I saw a good selection of waterfowl - tufted duck, gadwall, pochard, teal, little grebe, great crested grebe, wigeon, heron, cormorant as well as Canada geese, lapwing, an assortment of gulls, several jays, a squadron of starlings and a green woodpecker. I'm not brilliant on gull ID but I'm fairly confident that there are a number of LBBGs in this shot. I think the others are black headed gulls which I have already blipped.
