- I bought two tins of quality street on offer in Sainsburys for £10
- I baked a cake for my flatmate Duncan's birthday tomorrow
- I went out for dinner
- I ate (and am eating) too many marshmallows
- There was (and is) a gas leak on my street
- A man with a mechanical arm came to measure our engine
