Danger, Keep Out

Part 4 of my Woolston series, the final week. And back for a last visit to the local graveyard.

I've loved visiting this area perversely, so much history. It's sad however to see it so badly affected by the quakes, may of the gravestones are damaged. Ironically, wrapped around many (look closely here) you'll see tape "Danger, Keep Out". I bet the humour, if you can have humour in a graveyard, was lost.

Busy busy day making final preparations, tomorrow we move. Finally today we got the keys, and re-signed the lease agreement with a 25% increase in rent (before we even move in). I noted we signed the lease on April 6, with a move in date of June 1. I have to say, it was a bitter-sweet moment (re)signing the lease but agreeing to tens of thousands more in rent. Extortion.

Oh well. Next week it will be forgotten, hopefully, and we'll just be happy to be there.
