No Entry
This old barbed wire in it's day was a formidable way to keep people out or in. There is chicken wire as well as bars on the inside as well. As I looked through the door, one of the main beams which hols the roof in place had rotted away at the end and it was in danger of collapse.
Originally, this building was housing chickens and other animals that were providing food for the people who used to reside in the much larger building a short distance away.
The place was a hospital in Jerusalem built by an architect, Conrad Schick. The property was completely self contained. They used to grow their own food as well as provide a certain amount of meat. You see, it was a leperosy hospital. The words enscribed over the doorway to the entrance was "Jesus Hilfe" which was German and a missionary as well as an architect. The Moravians ran the hospital and as it says over the doorway, "With the help of Jesus"
There has been a lot of prayer that has taken place here nand it is my feeling that this is a "portal" where angels come and go. There is a presance about the property which cannot be denied.
For me, this window dressing is just one sign that the devil does not want anything good to come out of this property.
It is quite a large compound with many garden areas. There is a peace about this place that is unmistakable. It would be wonderful if someone with enough money could take it over and make it into a place that would attract the right kind of people to do something special with it.
I will post other views from time to time.
