Pasties

Today Ann's colleague told her that you could buy 'squirrel pasties' in Truro.

This isn't a 'squirrel pasty' - it's our favourite which is a 'peppered steak one'.

However, today I thought I'd do a 'pasty blip' because on Monday afternoon, when I was trotting around town in the rain, I thought I'd do a bit of 'pasty research'. I counted all the pasty shops. There's 11. Next I counted all the people who were eating pasties at 3.30pm in the afternoon. 87!

3.30pm is too late for lunch and too early for dinner. So the 87 people who were eating pasties must have been having them as an 'afternoon snack'. Pasties are very yummy and are traditionally Cornish so obviously holiday makers want to sample them.

.......................But we're always being told we're becoming a nation of overweight people. ...........................................Now we know why??!!

As for 'squirrel pasties' - I wouldn't mind tasting one the next time I go to Truro 'cos so far my only experience of squirrels is ................... the rabbit type things that run up trees when I chase them??!!

PS - No pasties were eaten in the blipping of this blip - we're saving this yummy peppered steak pasty for lunch tomorrow!
