Waffle Time!

Zach was leaving the house today to go home so we planned to go for breakfast at a Waffle House in San Telmo at 11:30. However I found Zach in bed sleeping at this time so my day turned out to be very unproductive waiting to go out for brunch and then going out again later for dinner! The waffles were so yum and I finally got to eat some bacon after weeks of cravings! Also went to the Walrus second hand English bookstore for the first time. It's amazing, the smell of old books hits you as you walk through the door and its quite a small shop so there are books literally everywhere. The drama section even fills all of the steps of the stairs!
It was the weekly VG night as well tonight and we went out for a Peruvian dinner which, after the disastrous attempts at trying to understand the menu, actually turned out really well! I got the 'lomo saltado' recommended by the waitor and Alexia just chose something called 'mondongo' which she believed to be standard beef but it actually turned out to be tripe, or insides, or guts yummmm! I found out that they drink Inca cola in peru, pretty cool, although I didn't get to try it as we were on the vino as per usual!
