Sundowning

Sundowning is something dementia patients do around 4pm in the afternoon. I've noticed it happening with my mum. I've had a lovely day sitting with her ordering Christmas presents on my ipad and she's been great but around 4pm she starts fretting and asking me the same questions over and over.

It doesn't matter how much reassurance I give her or what I say she immediately reverts to fretting as though I'd never spoken.

After a while of this I have to leave the room for my own sanity. This blip was taken outside my front door through next door's shrub.

Nothing to report on the hedgehog activity as there was none so it makes a refreshing change to take something else. :)
