Busy day -strange things

I had a busy day today.

I met with on old friend - but that was the afternoon.

Before that:

* the car went in for a service
* I picked up some boots that had been re-heeled
* I picked up and dropped off paperwork at the accountants
* I researched, reserved, and collected a new in-car dvd player (the old one just died)

It was at the shoe repairers (an old fashioned type place where shoes can be made to order in the Italian district of Bedford) where I took this blip.

This is a genuine reptile (okay, narrow it down it is either aligator or crocodile) skin - which one day will be a fine pair of Italian shoes or some other leather product.
