organised chaos

no, it is organised, really! going away on hol tomorrow, having spent the day doing chores i'm now at the 'lay it all out and cull by half' stage...

also, say hello to james, my zebra. no need for a travelling companion when you've got a stuffed zebra ;-) i got him just before i went backpacking for seven months, so he's been to hong kong (where he got that natty jacket), australia and new zealand already. this is the first time for him in the usa tho (i was mean and left him at home when i went out there last summer).

can't wait to get going, it's been ages since i had a big hol all by myself - last year was at a wedding then staying with friends, and other than that it's just been short jaunts for a couple of years. travelling alone is cool tho, no need to ask someone what they want to do, no-one to tsk when you get lost despite having read the map 17 times. eating alone is a bit tedious, but that's why books are great ;-)

won't be blipping while away, but expect a deluge when i return...
