Big Girl

Dear Heart,
The simplest of pleasures can often be bottomless and pure. Lavender on your fingertips, cheesy bread in your belly, Coca Cola bubbles escaping in wicked giggles... We visited Saint Fagan's today - talk about a nostalgia trip!
After barely managing to glimpse my family when I was home on the weekend, today gave me a chance to rediscover the little things I love most about them. Some presents you never get tired of unwrapping.
We took Siân to the Hall of Mirrors (can you believe she'd never been?!) and spent far too long pulling silly faces. Even in the midst of all our collective sorrows, God seems to set aside certain times for joy. I am full to bursting on lemon cakes and love!
