Early or Late?

I was sitting in our 'good' room chatting to our new Bishop when this wasp buzzed across the room and climbed the window. I'm not sure if it was one that hadn't found a place to hibernate, or if it had been awakened by a sunny, slightly warmish October day after months of almost continuous Fermanagh rain.
