Cheeky

This morning the three boys got dressed up in fancy dress to go to a friend's Halloween party. We had a skeleton, Count Dracula and a wee spider. We set off for the venue and became hopelessly lost among a maze of wonderful country roads which were looking absolutely stunning in their autumn colours. At one stage we passed a very still lake where the reflections were perfect with the cold water making them crystal clear.

Eventually we arrived at the party and inside the hall were about 2 to 3 dozen youngsters in all manner of costumes including more skeletons, witches and ghosts. Amongst the decorations were large pumpkins grinning inanely and these took my fancy for today's blip.

It has been a perfect autumn day with a cold morning slipping gradually into a warm and sunny afternoon with glorious blue skies setting off the wonderful autumn leaves, whose colour has intensified during the last few days following the colder weather last week.
