Unexpected visitors

This was my only photo for today - the large lorry that delivered our new desks. Impressive manoeuvering from the driver to get his very large lorry in and out of the car park avoiding skips, cars and our large storage container. A fence panel was later demolished by a courier van - the driver forgot to put his handbrake on.

Got an email from husband at lunchtime to say that we were going to have some unexpected visitors. My sister in law and nieces decided to pop over for the evening as they were in London for half-term. We haven't seen the girls for about 10 years..(shocking I know) so it was lovely to meet them again. Some frantic tidying and shopping had to be done before they arrived.

We had a lovely evening of catching up. Hope we'll meet up again soon.
