Tasty!

A glorious day for this time of year. Not too windy, not too cold and between the showers, a blue blue sky.

Decided to make a start on the Christmas preparations by making my cake. Well, gathered all the fruit together and put it to soak in brandy for a few days! On the next cold day I'll bake it, heating the kitchen for a good 4 hours too! Wonderful smells coming from it already . . .

Coming back from the village this morning I spied this lady enjoying what is left of the grass. You can see from the cows in the background what the weather is like, they are standing with their bums to the wind, heads down. It's not as warm as it looks!
