Fun in the Sun

Spent a few hours at the Wynyard Quarter at the Waterfront wandering around soaking up the sun and atmosphere.

Saw the Mayan Queen yacht which was moored at the wharf - talk about impressive! I didn't use one of the shots I took of it as I didn't feel they did it justice, so for you to see it in all it's amazing glory you can see it here.

This particular shot is of a windchime. The longer parts dangle down and when the wind is strong enough moves them, so that they hit each other causing the chiming.
Underneath is very shallow water, which children were enjoying like a paddling pool. Oh and some adults cooling off their feet!

While it was warm and sunny, and also somewhat overcast for a while, we didn't even think about sunscreen - eeep! Now a wee bit pink around the edges!
