oxford's oldest college?

so many colleges claim to be the oldest or the prettiest. it's a pity that i've only visited a handful of colleges thus far, so i decided to take advantage of the sunny day and pay a visit to balliol. the grounds are stunning. i'm not unhappy with my college choice, but i can see why people choose the older colleges. there's just something quite nice about living in history. or something like that...
