Lochter from above
Lochter Activity Centre, Oldmeldrum as seen from the Amsterdam - Aberdeen flight this morning. I love the trout shaped loch and have been trying to get a snap from the plane for a while, finally managed today :-)
This is a tolerant trout fishing venue as they put up an Osprey nesting pole and a pair of Ospreys duly moved in and started nesting ... maybe the trout-shaped loch attracted them a wee bit too ;-) In the Summer, you can watch the nest via a video link in the Lochter cafe. The Ospreys have headed back to West Africa for the winter, but hopefully they'll be back again in the Spring next year.
