Rise and shine...
I took this photo, yesterday morning - a very quick handful of shots at what was a lovely sunrise over the mist filled valley! The photo doesn't do it justice I'm afraid - it was breathtaking.
Sadly I had no time to appreciate it (one day we WILL build our decking and we WILL have time to sit with a cuppa and appreciate the views)!! :-/ I had another load of meetings and another load of driving...:(
So, training course, followed by first appraisal with new boss, followed by a quick lunch sat looking out over Cardiff Bay reading poetry ;-) Then a dash up to Pontypridd a hair colour and cut then another meeting / chinwag with my team member and friend Lauren. :)
I was determined to get home by 9pm so I set off around 8pm which at that time of night is usually fine, but the A470 was closed! During the diversion (through some sort of industrial estate), the petrol light came on so once back on the right route I went to the petrol station only to see the huge sign 'no diesel'. Hmmmm - thanks! So off to another petrol station then where I finally filled up and was on my way at last!!
I was only about 15 minutes late home in the end which I thought wasn't bad considering - luckily I had eaten at Lauren's so I was able to just collapse in front of the fire / TV with a cup of tea and enjoy a bit of catching up :)
I was SO incredibly tired I didn't have the energy to blip! So here you have a backblip. I am very pleased to say that I have started to catch up on looking and commenting already - some of you will notice that I am sure and hopefully I will catch up fully this weekend.
This weekend obviously will be to relax....well.... and catch up with blip.....and do the finances..... and catch up with house work.....and ironing.....and.....oh ok......this weekend will be pretty busy too! :-/ At least there shouldn't be too much driving though!! :)
Have a great weekend everyone
XxX
PS for anyone that ever used to look at my dream blog (takes a moment to watch the tumbleweed rolling by).....I had a rather enjoyable dream in an odd way last night, so I have recorded it for the first time in ages! :)
