Off to A&E with a suspected broken finger. Marlane took a tumble, grabbed at a door handle to stop the fall, caught the ring in the door handle and ripped something, possibly breaking the finger.
It swelled up like a balloon and went very black and blue.

At the A&E they cut the ring off but decided it wasn't broken but good job we went as the ring, plus the swelling, was cutting off the circulation to the finger and it may have caused a major problem if it hadn't been seen to.
