A saxophone is a brilliant yet expensive distraction from work! I can now play easy scales (due to not really being able to find sharps and flats) and simple songs like greensleeves and amazing grace. Poor neighbours.

The ceilidh last night was really good fun! I'd never been to one before, but Duncan and his brother Gus are old hands and I was spinning away...at one point we did a 'helicopter', where two couples are in a circle and the girls are lifted on the boys' shoulders and spun round so their legs fly out like a helicopter.

Our exam timetable got released today, my last exam is on the afternoon of the 20th of December!!! Now we're into the 300s it really feels like exams are closing in fast...
