Winter Hill

A long run out this morning from Rivington to Darwen Tower and back, about 18 miles. Weather deteriorated towards the end - Darwen Moor and Spitlers Edge on the way back offering a bit of a challenge. Waterproofs needed at this point. Great way of blowing the cobwebs away and a complete change of scenery from yesterday's outing! This is from Longworth Rd - looking across Belmont, with St Peters Church being very prominent, over to the telecommnications masts on Winter Hill
