Montaje?

So today the Vice President came to our town to do the weekly sum-up of current governmental goings-on.

I'm not sure how I feel about the whole show... it certainly drummed up enthusiasm within the community; however, between the bulldozers that brought sand from the beach to cover up the muddy soccer field, the helicopter that carried Senor Vicepresidente in and out, the several dozens of armed police and military guards, the canopies and hundreds of plastic chairs, the endless motorcade, the generator to keep the film going, the hundreds of hours of labor to set it all up and tear it all down. Perhaps these tens of thousands of dollars could have been used instead for a library or sex ed and condoms or bricks for the streets.
