Lighting up the Sky

This evening I went to a firework display at The Farm.

The Farm is 65 acres of crops and ploughed fields belonging to my Dad's side of the family, all making it the perfect place for a bonfire of this size - blazing wood reaching three metres tall with tongues of flames stretching up to the heavens.

I stood with my sister Rhiannon to watch the fireworks as they lit up the sky; we 'ooh'd and 'ahh'd together, and laughed as the echoing bangs made us jump with fright.

I didn't realise how much I've missed Rhi, so it was wonderful to spend some time with her. She's a gem.
