Rainy Switzerland

Day3 of the holiday and also the big game in leichenstien. We spent the morning meandering up towards the gorge. We visited the information centre , tasted the free local apples there, very delicious so we bought some for later.A significant purchase.

Several churches in the village , all very beautiful so we spent some time looking around ( perhaps we should have spnt time looking for divine intervention for the game ) .Always amazed at how ornate some of thes village churches are and also how the simplest ones can look awesome.

heading back for dry clothes to wear to the game we spotted these two heading homewards in thediectio of ourhotel.
This had to be the blip , if only to show that Scotland isn't the only place which gets heavy rain.

In the evening it was still torrential as we entered the Rheinepark Stadium. The guards searched our bags as we went in , told us to hide the apples as we were'nt allowed to take fruit into the game. Just inside the gates there was an amazing array of fruits on sale. Not yhe usual unhealthy Scotch pie and bovril.
