Chiri Jazz trio

This evening I went to a jazz performance organized by the Australian and Korean embassies to celebrate 50 years of cooperation. The trio consist of Simon Barker (drums) and Scott Tinkler (trumpet), two of Australia's most highly regarded improvisers, together with Korean pansori artist Bae Il Dong. I can't say I enjoyed all the pieces but it was different from anything I've ever heard before.
