Day 24. 365grateful - imagination
Had a sudden burst of energy tonight to try and find new combinations for wearing my clothes. I don't buy many clothes, shoes or bags. Seriously. I do like to look good of course though.
Anyway, at work I've been wearing the same old things and feeling a bit bored with it. Rather than going out and buying lots of new things I thought I'd give it a go to take everything out of the wardrobe and try on some new combinations. It worked pretty well. Although I really need to buy anything but black, brown and grey for about a year! But those colours tend to be OK for work.
So today I am grateful for my imagination and trying old things in a new way.
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. John Fitzgerald Kennedy

The 365 Grateful Project
In early 2008, in an effort to fight depression, Hailey Bartholomew started a year long photographic project which involved taking one Polaroid photo a day of something she felt grateful for.
I thought that this was such a fab idea I would do it as well. I have been blipping on and off recently but I lost my enthusiasm for it when I felt that every day was the same, always going to the same place. However, I think that documenting something I am grateful for each day gives it a different slant.
