Tradition
Woke up this morning completely baffled at where I was, slept round a friend's last night and it was lots of fun. Anyways we got up, made some pancakes (with self raising flour cause we didn't have plain) and then left by 11ish. Then I came home, jumped in the shower and set down to do a bit of work.
Then the doorbell rang. Maddie, one of my friends from last night came round cause she wanted to borrow some black trousers for a fancy dress party she's going to. So she came in and tried some on and blah blah, then we dropped her at the station and went to go and buy some fireworks for a fireworks night party i've organised. Then when we finally got back again it was time for a cup of tea and then I could get on with work. However, the combination of cold weather, soft clothes, warm tea, and soothing music sent me right to sleep until 5pm. I then had an hour before I had to leave to a firework display so I put some food in the oven and started getting ready.
It was good tonight though. It's become a bit of a tradition to go to this one. It's at littlehampton, and basically there's a parade with lots of floats, dancers, firework companies and steam engines and stuff. Then everyone rushes across the road to the seafront for the firework display and the bonfire. There's also a fair and stuff too but we don't really bother with that. It's good fun though, and despite the light rain, crowds and the cold managed to get a few nice pictures. Chose this over one of the bonfire pictures I liked cause I thought it was pretty cool :)
