It's beginning to look a lot like...Halloween?

I woke up this morning to find that It was snowing in New Jersey in October...what the hell.

I assumed that the weatherman meant we were getting some flurries when he said it was going to snow, not several inches.

My whole family was supposed to come for my grandpas birthday party today but it got cancelled last minute due to the weather...within 20 minutes of canceling the party my house lost power and we haven't had it since. That was about 12 hours ago. My house is verrryyyy cold.

I had a near death experience today, I was given the job of moving the cars from the driveway while my sister shoveled and as soon as I got out of my sisters car a tree branch fell and missed the car and me by INCHES. I was shaking for like an hour after that.

My mom and sister made a bunch of different yummy soups for the party so we got to feast on them all day long, yummmmmm.

I can deal with the lack of power and heat but what I cannot deal with is Elfster being postponed. I need to know who my secret Santa will be this year!

I can honestly say all I did today was sit around...because there was absolutely nothing else to do.
