In the Garden (A)

Glorious day today!
Got (most of) my mowing done, and decided to do a blip in the garden because it just felt right.
Found myself spoilt for choice though with so many plants doing their spring time thing ...
The artichokes got me rather excited, with this being only one of many flower buds (are they still called buds in that size ...? We're talking about 15cm diameter here).
All this excitement got me thinking about an alphabetical garden blip fest. Hope I'm not gonna regret this ...
So for today, A is for artichoke.
