Pumpkin Fun.

A busy day today - a friend' house warming party, followed by an excruciating (but scenically gloomy and beautiful) drive to Higher Bentham for their Paper Lantern Light Parade.
Unfortunately it was a bit of a let down - the rain was a little too heavy and the parade got rushed along quickly... But we had great company in the pub for a pint afterwards with our art group, the C.A.N gang.
Then it was another hours drive home in heavy rain to grab a Hallowe'en costume followed by another drive to Hipperholme, Halifax...
Here we met David's lovely friends in a wonderful local brewery/pub called Cock O' The North for drinks and a catch up.
The pumpkin I have blipped was on our table as a centre piece, but it wasn't until halfway into the night I released the clever carver had depicted a pig character's face from the Angry Birds game!
Other pumpkins included Jason from Friday the 13th and some goblin (I think!) sticking his tongue out. The pumpkins on other tables I unfortunately could not see, but I bet they were just as amazing.
