Early Bird

Oops! Who forgot to put the clocks back last night and was up an hour early? Who promised no more sunrises for a while but couldn't resist just one more? Sorry, hope you will forgive me!

Anyway, the spot where this blip was taken from was a raging cauldron of water just 16 hours before as heavy seas on a flood tide met the swollen river. This morning, however, it was all peace and calm. What a difference a few hours make and what changeable weather we have. I decided to take a few shots from this spot before heading to the beach on my run as the clouds were gathering. Just as well as the sun has now gone and the wind is picking up again.

I settled on this shot because of the shadows from ripples in the sand and the mooring buoy in the river that takes your eye to the sea.
