It's Dooie!

Look look, I made a lovely little friend on the beach today! His name is Dooie and he is a 5 month old Cockerpoo!

Dooie had just scared himself by chasing a seagull into the sea, he had never been in the sea before so he got a bit of a shock. Then.....along I came!! I had a BRILLIANT play with him and showed him how much fun the sea is!

I had the ball in my mouth and Dooie chased me everywhere, in and out of the waves and down the beach. He was sooooo sweet! He lost his fear of the sea and just followed me! He also followed me back to daddy when he called and we had a treat for coming back! I quite like teaching baby little puppies like me how to behave! I felt all grown up!

My friend Poppy the Cockerpoo doesn't 'do' water either. I wonder if I could teach her as well?!

The only thing with Cockerpoo's is that they soak up all the water like a sponge and go all skinny. Apparently Dooie is all big and fluffy when he is dry! He is going to need a bath later I think, just look at the state of him!

Apparently I am going for a bath in a minute too. I absolutley stink like a fishermans pants *giggle* That will be because I was rolling in the seamud and seaweed! I am filthy and banished to the kitchen! How Boring!

I do LOVE the beach though and next weekend we are going on holiday to Cornwall for a WHOLE WEEK! We have a cottage right beside the sea, so my garden is going to be a beach! Wowweeeeeeeee! I CAN'T WAIT!
