After the Storm

I know most people love the beautiful snow scenes.
The reality is 17 inches of heavy wet snow wreaks havoc with the trees.
Wet snow is the really bad stuff. The light powder is not a problem but this kind weighs a ton and snaps power lines and very large branches like twigs.
Many local areas had 6-8 hours without power.
I'm going to need our buddy with the chain saw once the snow is all gone. Lots of damage to some wonderful trees.
Good news. The snow is already starting to fall off the trees so no more damage and the temperature is already in the 40s and the sun is out..

It's going to be in the 50s for the rest of the week so by Tuesday this will be a memory..
Could be a fun winter.
