Perfect day

We walked up into the forest that we look onto from the cottage. At the top there were lovely views up and down the Tweed Valley. Not too good for landscape photographs - hazy, and the sun straight into the lens, but I spotted some good spots to go back to, with the Nikon.

We sat looking out across the valley and the hills, and looked down on our cottage in the distance. We can't quite believe that, after all the stresses, strains and worries of moving, we have ended up in such a beautiful place.
