The Japanese Garden at Tatton Park, Cheshire

A gorgeous Sunday and the sunlight on the autumn colours at Tatton Park, one of the best of the UK gardens. It is in Cheshire and hosts one of the top Gardening Shows in July.

Late October shows the russet and red colours to perfection and my favourite photo of today's crop was of the Japanese Garden.

Closely followed by the
Shinto Temple

and

the carousel by the Stable Restaurant

We then went on to The Frosted Mop, a delightful pub/restaurant in the village of Mobberley. We arrived about 3.00 and thought we might be too late for Sunday lunch. The days are over when you can't get a bit to eat in England after 2.15. This excellent hostelry serves food right through until 9.00 p.m.

A wonderful end to a perfect day

And for those of you interested in the concert I attended yesterday : Ramin Karimloo was magnificent !
