Another Season, Another Reason For Making Whoopie

My first attempt at making Whoopie Pies. I didn't think they were any good until I filled them with blackcurrant jelly and whipped cream. Oh maaaaaan, they're good. Probably not as good as they should be but I'll get better at them. Talking of getting better, think I'm off to self-medicate (again) now, I mean who else is gonna eat em?

In other news, I nipped to the shops in a town I haven't shopped in before and, oh my, it was like some unknown power had taken all the unfortunates, neds, ignorami, chavs, pie munchers they could find and conveniently gathered them in one place. Shame, as its a nice little town. I'm probably not going back.
