Dooking for Apples

Some call it Apple 'Bobbing', in parts of Ireland they call it 'Snap Apple' here in Scotland (and around our place earlier) we call it Dooking...

It's based on an old New Years game and become a Halloween ritual, apparently the world record is 34 in one minute. We were nearer 34 minutes for one each.

Sophie had her Birthday party this afternoon, here's a happy picture of her cousins Sian and Zoe. When it was the turn of the Birthday girl she just picked it up with her hand close to the water and took a bite....
