Catching the sun
Yesterday S and I headed north to the Beach House to camp out. Although essentially the builder has finished, we have now discovered that the electricity supplier disconnected the power supply completely, and the process of turning it back on at the end of the building turns out to be complicated and lengthy.
Nevertheless, we stayed overnight using power from S' mother's home to give a bit of light. Spent large parts of Saturday and then all today taking things out of boxes into the cupboards and shelves. Setting up furniture. Will get a picture to show some of wnat it looks like to blip tomorrow.
This picture was taken on my early morning run along the Snells Beach front. I really like the cross effect of the rays from the sun, and then the reflection of the sun, the orb itself, in the near pool on the mud flats. Kawau Island looks mysterious in this lights, and the ruffled water of the bay acts as a separation.
(Back blipped on Monday as no internet connection yet due to lack of electricity)
