Wild Ride

Very windy today and that made for some rough seas. The kidz went back today so later this afternoon I went looking for an easy blip. Headed into Pippi Beach and hit the jackpot as there were 3 guys kite surfing and catching some amazing lifts. I got some great shots but as I was up higher than the beach it was hard to tell from the photos just how high up this guy in particular got. I tried to get down to the beach but the wind was blowing the sand in my face and I was a bit worried about the camera so headed back up the track.
This was one of a few that actually showed how high he got. I have no idea how high he would have been but the waves were well over 2 metres and he was way up on that. He did this over and over again, each time riding waves into the beach, doing a manoeuvre and in seconds was heading back out. Absolutely incredible. I was there for about an hour and a half and they were still going when I left - must have been so exhilarating.
