Finnish Govenment building

This beuatiful building was designed by Carl Ludvig Engel in 1822. It is in front of the central square of Helsinki, also by C.L. Engel. The statue of Aleksander II is standing behind the picture, he was the Grand Duke of Finland, from 1855-1881.
