Ryan Adams

This is Jill catching up on some light reading on the train to Edinburgh for Ryan Adams.

Sadly we were not allowed to take any pictures during the gig which is a shame as we had amazing seats.

The gig was great. Ryan played a 2 hour solo set cruising from guitar to piano as he took us through he last decade or so of his music.

It was a great show and he was in fine form (and is actually really funny).

It is one of the best gigs I have been to in a while.

Over all it was a great day seeing the castle having a walk up the old town going for some dinner and then some white Russians before the show.

What a fantastic day.

If you haven't heard Ryan Adam's new stuff or any stuff for that matter then you are missing out.

His new album is as good a place to start as any. It's called Ashes on Fire.
