Summer!

After the rain at the beginning of the week, the garden has come on incredibly. We'd had no rain for six or seven weeks and now everything is making up for lost time. Another beautiful day today so I spent most of it weeding, and generally tidying up in the garden.

Managed to fit in a walk to the beach with Leo, the chihuahua. Unfortunately it was very nearly his last, as he followed Ollie into the sea and ended up floating away from us! Hilary bravely leapt in after him and grabbed him, only for him to shake himself and try and head back in! He is amazing - a real dog but in a tiny little body! He is full of character and has no fear. Ollie and he always play well together and are very gentle with each other, must take some more shots of them.
