Aberdour Train Station

As I sat on the bus this morning, making my way to Damian's Art Class, I once again noticed that the majority of passengers, on alighting, say a thank you or cheers or whatever to the driver. I must say I do find this warming, giving me a positive outlook to my fellow men.

I noticed this morning too that the school uniform tie is now worn in a casual style of looseness. The traditional knot seems to be tied but the tie hangs almost as a scarf might do, in fact some of the ties are extra wide and short in imitation of a scarf. Probably this has been the look for decades and I've just never noticed, living out in the sticks where the local livestock don't go to school could account for that.

As we neared Princess Street all the clocks I saw were telling the up-to-date hour. Efficiency!

The Art Class were sketching in Haymarket Station, on the train to Aberdour and then at the Aberdour Station. A good fun day.

I have sorely lapsed with my commenting and I don't think tonight will be catch-up time, I have other chores waiting and am feeling pretty tired. Tomorrow is another day, may be it will be intervalled with catching up, although I have a 'to do' list as long as my arm................
